Upon contact, EXONET’s advanced Transcuticular Dispersion Mechanism facilitates the rapid and uniform spread of the diluted formulation across the insect’s cuticle, forming a continuous monomolecular film that ensures total surface coverage and initiates the desiccation process.

As the formulation desiccates upon exposure to air and the insect’s surface, the active matrix contracts and crystallises into a web-like microstructure that adheres tightly to the insect’s exoskeleton. This structure immobilises the insect by restricting joint movement and disrupting respiratory and water-retention functions, leading to irreversible desiccation and death.

EXONET can also be used as a tank mix with traditional insecticides to provide faster knockdown and enhance control of chemically resistant strains.
